Last night, I enjoyed an episode of Suits. You’ll probably know the plot line. If you don’t it’s about a young man, Mike Ross, who pretends to have a Harvard Law degree to work for a successful New York Law firm.
However, the story is about him following his heart to get justice. So, Ross and his boss pursue a rogue property developer when he robs a social housing project of $150 million. And like Perry Mason, they never lose a case.
If one word typifies God’s demand throughout the Bible it is ‘justice’. He wants us to repent by bringing justice. He wants us to worship him in justice. He wants us to work with his Son for justice.
Unlike in Suits, intelligent endeavor isn’t always rewarded. But we don’t need to be lawyers to fight for justice, just a good heart.
